On the occasion of International Snake Bite Awareness Day, nursing students of GRV College of Nursing conducted an awareness program at Devanahalli Taluk Hospital on 19 September 2025.
The program aimed to educate patients, attendants, and the general public about snake bite prevention, first aid measures, early identification of symptoms, and the importance of seeking immediate medical treatment. Students actively participated in health education sessions and awareness activities under the guidance of faculty members.
The event helped create awareness about the prevention and management of snake bites and highlighted the role of community education in reducing snake bite-related morbidity and mortality.
